The SpellingIQ placement test

Eight words read aloud, plus a few more if your score needs settling. You hear the word, you type it, and there is no autocorrect to lean on, the same way a spelling bee works.

At the end you get a single SpellingIQ: a chess-style rating, typically between 800 and 2200, estimated from how hard each word was rather than from how many you got right.
